Building Homes is More Than a Career
Sisters Custom Homes was founded right here in Sisters, Oregon by Cory and Nikki Kent, though our building experience goes back more than 20 years. Cory comes from a long line of builders and engineers, and designing, building, and problem-solving have been part of his life since childhood.
We moved from Oregon's Willamette Valley to Central Oregon in 2022, chasing more sunshine, an outdoor lifestyle, and room for the things we love most: our daughter Scarlett, our dogs, our horses, and a real sense of community. That same connection to the outdoors shapes how we build. We aim for homes that are beautiful, functional, healthy, and made to last, using natural materials and energy-efficient methods that perform as well as they look.
While Sisters Custom Homes officially launched in 2026, it's built on decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry throughout Oregon (CCB #260626). This isn't a company starting from scratch. It's one finally building under its own name.
We started this company because too many homes today are built fast and cheap, with little thought for long-term durability, efficiency, or the health of the people living inside them. We wanted to do it differently, with quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and the same care we'd want in a home built for our own family.
We live here. We build here. And we want every home we put our name on to be one we're proud to drive by for the next 30 years.
